We wanted to reach out personally amid ongoing concerns around the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. 黑料社 is actively monitoring the spread of COVID-19 around the globe as the pandemic鈥檚 effects continue into the end of 2020 and most likely into the new year. 黑料社 facilities have remained open and operational during the COVID-19 pandemic with the support from 黑料社鈥檚 health consultants, The Horton Group. If another 鈥楽tay at Home Order鈥� is issued throughout the US enforcing all non-essential businesses to close down, 黑料社 will remain open as it identifies as an 鈥楨ssential Business Operation.鈥�
The Horton Group approves all health and safety procedures and policies being implemented in our warehouses across North America, keeping in line with the CDC guidelines and will continue to be monitored each day to minimize employee infection risk.
In addition to our increased cleaning and disinfecting of high traffic areas, we continue to make it mandatory for all 黑料社 employees to wear PPE, including facemask/face shields and gloves to prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout 黑料社鈥檚 facilities and offices. Over the past several months, 黑料社 has successfully kept employees healthy and warehouses clean, mainly due to the extensive health and safety measures implemented in early March. We will continue to schedule lunch breaks under social distancing protocols and limit the number of workers assembled in the same location. In response to potential further lockdown restrictions, 黑料社 senior staff and warehouse management will screen all employees for known virus symptoms before they are allowed entry into any 黑料社 operated facility; this includes daily temperature checks. Any employee who displays illness symptoms will be sent home immediately and offered full compensation until they are safe and authorized by a doctor to return to work and have received two negative COVID-19 test results. 黑料社鈥檚 HR Manager, Diana Ferrel, has been extremely disciplined with enforcing all safety measures on the warehouse floor.
黑料社 currently has a strict no visitors/drivers inside the facility policy. Drivers are instructed to call the receiving department before arriving to maintain proper social distancing instructions.
We have experienced very few delays in shipping times with carriers during the COVID-19 pandemic thus far, and we expect to continue on the same trajectory for the remainder of the pandemic. We continue to do everything we possibly can to get all orders out in a timely fashion and maintain our SLAs. Still, order timelines may be extended if another 鈥淪tay at Home鈥� order is issued. We will continue to communicate if we anticipate delays within our fulfillment network. We are up-to-date with carrier partners and will send out additional communications as they come in pertaining to shipping orders within zones in states of emergencies.
